The reason why I painted this artwork:
 
This piece was inspired by the breathtaking waterholes and rivers I discovered during my travels through New South Wales, Australia.
 
These waterholes left such a profound impact on me that I felt compelled to paint my interpretation.
 
The beauty and tranquility of these waterholes inspired me to capture their essence in my artwork and I wanted viewers to experience a glimpse of the peace and wonder I felt.
 
My aim was to create a serene oasis—a space that radiates calmness, magic, and safety, perfect for rest and reflection, protected by the surrounding series of gum trees. It’s also intended to evoke a sense of fantasy, a place where dreams can come true.
